How we make money

Brick Verdict is free to read. The site and the YouTube channel are funded by affiliate links: when you buy something through one of our store links, the store may pay us a commission. You do not pay more.

We take part in, or have applied to, affiliate programmes including Amazon.se (Amazon Associates), Adtraction, Awin and Rakuten (LEGO.com). Which stores we list depends on where the set is sold, not on the commission a store pays.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

How we label advertising

• Every page says at the top that the site contains affiliate links.
• Every verdict carries an ad disclosure at the top, and every list of stores is labelled “Ad” directly above the links.
• Affiliate links go through addresses starting with thebrickverdict.com/go/ and carry rel="sponsored".
• Video descriptions that contain store links are labelled as advertising.
• Sponsored content is always labelled as an ad with the sponsor's name. We have no sponsored content today.

How we protect our verdicts

• We never rank a store higher because it pays commission or sponsors us.
• Verdicts (Buy, Wait, Skip) and target prices are decided before store links are added.
• We also list stores and marketplaces that pay us nothing, such as BrickLink.
• No store, network or sponsor gets to read or change a verdict before it is published.
• We don't give investment advice. We write about price and value for you as a buyer.

Prices

We always state when a price was checked. Prices change often, so check the price in the store before you buy.
